====== Scheduling Interviews ====== Interviews can be held: - Face to face - Web-based - Or via a mail out link All methods have their advantages and disadvantages: ^ ^ Application ^ Advantage ^ Disadvantage ^ |Face-to-face|Personal interview with decision-makers. Duration: about 90 Minutes|Customer appreciates the effort; Highest information content (Mood, background “reading between the lines“); Readiness to invest time; Possibility to involve several decision makers in one interview|Resource intensive (travel time & cost); Difficult to devise efficient interview schedule| |Web-based interview|Personal interview with the decision-makers via Web conferencing (e.g. using Teams, Zoom, etc.). Duration: approx 60 mins|Good Information content through the visual Interaction; High readiness to invest time; Possibility to involve several decision makers in one interview; Efficient & flexible|Customers don‘t always accept this option (lack or knowledge,readiness, technology). Not appreciated as much as personal interview| |Mail-out link|Link to interview form sent to respondent and they complete on their own. Duration: no interviewer time required|Efficient and flexible use of time. No scheduling required|Low information content; Reluctance to invest time; Cannot easily involve several people in the interview; Low response rate| ===== Defining Interviews ===== Clicking on the interview option from the main menu, shows a blank list of interviews. Click on the + to create the first interview record. Enter as much of the personal data as is relevant to the interview, set the language for the interview and the type of interview. For all interviews other than a web interview, where you are mailing a link to the interviewee, select the interviewer and the date and time of the appointment. Press save changes to create the interview record. {{ :ivews.png?nolink&600 |}} ==== Meeting Request Email ==== For interviews where there is either a face to face or remote interview, clicking on the meeting request button generates an email form as shown below. This email can be sent as shown or edited to add more information. **However, we would recommend that to make it more personal you copy the relevant text and send it from your account.** {{ :meetingreq.png?nolink&400 |}} ==== Sending a web input link ==== For web input interviews where we are just sending a unique url link to the meeting, an email meeting link button is displayed. Clicking generates an email form as shown below with the unique url shown. Again, this email can be sent as shown or edited to add more information. **However, we would recommend that to make it more personal you copy the relevant text and send it from your account.** {{ :weblink.png?nolink&400 |}} ==== Viewing the interview output ==== When an interview is complete, the output is displayed on the right of the screen instead of the interview details.{{ :viview2.png?nolink |}} This is useful as a check of the completeness of the interview and also the consistency of results between interviews.
